Whale Sharks are ovoviviparous that means Whale Sharks have eggs, the eggs are kept inside the mother until the female Whale Shark is ready to release the young Whale Shark. Not every egg will become a young Whale Shark. Some of these eggs will actually be food to the other developing young Whale Shark.
