Behavior
What is the behaviour of the Whale Shark? Whale sharks are one of the most known filter feeders. They are filter feeders because they take a gulp of water in the ocean because that is the way they capture their food, so that makes them filter feeders.
Diet
Their diet is mostly plankton, although the diet of a whale shark does also includes other small animals that end up in its mouth like the majority of macro-algae, krill, Christmas Island red crabs, and small aquatic organisms such as vertebrates and the occasional squid.
